Delivery & Assembly
Delivery of the equipment to site is one of the key stages of any contract. It is more often than not on the critical path of any project programme and demands the care and attention of R&R Engineering’s trained delivery and installation teams.
Whether the assembly is a single wall mounted enclosure or a major floor standing Motor Control Centre, all teams are fully equipped to cater for all aspects of delivery and installation of the equipment.
A team of supervisors are available for consultation prior to any work being undertaken to agree methods of installations and timings of deliveries. Site surveys can be carried out to ensure the most expedient and cost effective methods of delivery and installation are provided.
All assemblies have been specifically designed with Delivery and Installation in mind.
Some of the key features of the equipment considered in the design of the equipment provide the following advantages at delivery and installation stage.
- All standard assemblies are equipped with integral low level lifting facilities without the use of traditional Eye Bolts.
- All standard assemblies can be delivered as a single column for individual installation where access facilities demand.
- Standard assemblies can be delivered in assembled length of up to 6 metres to minimise the installation period and “re-assembly” at site.
Installation and in particular re-assembly of the equipment at site is a specialist operation. It is essential that suitably skilled and qualified personnel carry out this task. R&R Engineering provide this service on request assuring you the client that the equipment enters service in the way it was intended to do so with the peace of mind and the certification to prove this.
