Our switchgear range is built on a Type Tested Assembly (TTA) platform, offering a modular, flexible solution for power distribution across a wide range of applications. Every assembly is configured to your exact project requirements:

BUSBAR SYSTEMS & INTERNAL ASSEMBLY

Every R&R Engineering switchboard is built around a precision-engineered copper busbar system, assembled and tested in-house to the highest standards. Our busbar configurations are sized and specified to match the exact current and fault level requirements of each installation — from the main incoming busbar through to individual outgoing circuit connections.

  • Copper busbar systems rated up to 7,400A
  • 3- and 4-pole configurations to suit all installation types
  • Standardised busbar position at the top of the cubicle for consistent, accessible layout
  • Full compartmentalisation in accordance with BS EN 60439-1
  • All busbar connections torque-tightened and inspected prior to testing
  • Every assembly factory-tested before dispatch

MOTOR CONTROL CENTRES

Our Motor Control Centres are manufactured in individual tiers to maximise flexibility, with every unit fault level tested to ensure safe, reliable performance in demanding environments. Available configurations cover a full range of prospective fault currents to suit your installation:

  • 26kA for 1 second
  • 50kA for 1 second
  • 50kA for 3 seconds
  • 80kA for 1 second

Configuration options include front and rear access, front access only, and back-to-back with front access — with top and bottom cable entry available across all options.

Integral low-level lifting facilities as standard. Single-column delivery available where site access demands it. Assembled lengths of up to 6 metres to minimise on-site re-assembly.

Pre-Installation Support

A team of supervisors is available prior to works commencing to agree installation methods and delivery timings. Site surveys carried out to ensure the most efficient approach.

Re-Assembly & Certification

Re-assembly at site is a specialist operation. R&R Engineering provides this service on request, with full certification to confirm equipment enters service exactly as intended.
