Current Vacancy: Control Panel Builder
R&R Engineering is expanding our technical team. We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Control Panel Builder to join our production facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for the assembly, wiring, and testing of high-quality control panels for our industrial and commercial clients.
Key Responsibilities
Assembly & Mounting: Install components (PLCs, VFDs, breakers, relays, etc.) onto backplates and into enclosures according to technical schematics and layout drawings.
Wiring: Perform precise point-to-point wiring of control panels, ensuring neat cable management, correct labeling, and adherence to electrical standards.
Quality Control: Conduct thorough inspections and functional testing to ensure panels meet design specifications and safety regulations before dispatch.
Technical Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve wiring errors or component issues during the build process.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of build progress and any deviations from original schematics.
Requirements
Proven experience in control panel building, industrial wiring, or a relevant electrical background.
Ability to read and interpret complex electrical schematics and engineering drawings.
Strong knowledge of electrical components and assembly best practices.
High level of attention to detail and a commitment to professional-grade finishes.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a production team.
